The UK Ladder & Safety Training Company is a division of Clow
Group Ltd., the largest privately owned manufacturer of ladders and
access equipment in the U.K and members of the British Ladder
Manufacturers Association (BLMA).
The UK Ladder & Safety Training Company was formed originally by a collection
of the UK's most experienced ladder makers to meet the needs and requirements
of employers and employees who were involved with the use and maintenance
of ladders and access equipment. 
- Drew Clark and Company, ladder makers to the Royal Household, established 1903.
- Hardlife Ladder Company, successor to Lloyds Ladders and the UK's first aluminium ladder manufacturer.
- Timballoy Ladders, manufacturer of timber and aluminium ladders.
- WJ Clow, Midlands, manufacturer of aluminium ladders and stagings.
- WJ Clow, Glasgow, founded in 1913 and manufacturer of the UK's first glassfibre ladder.
